Ingredients:

  • 1 package of Jello Cook And Serve Vanilla Pudding Mix (3.4 oz)
  • 3 cups of milk
  • 1 box of vanilla wafers (12 oz)
  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream for topping (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine pudding mix and 3 cups of milk over medium heat. Stir constantly until the mixture comes to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool for a few minutes.
  3. Line the bottom of a 9x13 inch casserole dish with vanilla wafers.
  4. Layer sliced bananas on top of the vanilla wafers.
  5. Pour half of the pudding mixture over the bananas and vanilla wafers.
  6. Add another layer of vanilla wafers and bananas.
  7. Pour the remaining pudding over the second layer of bananas and vanilla wafers.
  8. In a medium mixing bowl, beat heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  9. Spoon the whipped cream over the entire top of the pudding.
  10. Garnish with additional vanilla wafers (optional).
  11. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
