Banana Nut Bread

In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the mashed bananas, sour cream and vanilla and mix until well combined.

Gradually add the flour mixture to the banana mixture, beating on low speed until just blended. Stir in the chopped walnuts.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60 to 70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.

Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and serve.
